@Shygiirl916 they talk about adoption papers in the Broadway versions because they leave out a plot point in the movie. Once Audrey 2 becomes popular, Mr.Muchnik wants to addopt Seymour so that when he dies, the shop will go to him, hence the addoption papers talk. Also, I wasnt sure if you knew, but the Broadway musical came before this. lol. So the movie changed things, not the Broadway musical.

I have seen this movie many times but i can never figure out what he keeps calling audrey2 in this song. Is he saying "tony thats discusting!"?

No matter how many Broadways I hear they can't hit this part just right 2:40-:48 well maybe one or two they also change the words... instead of saying press coverage they say adoption papers.. idk it just bugs me a little cause this is one of my top favorite old movies
